Katelin Chesna is a seasoned actress and dedicated coach with a passion for helping actors bring authenticity to their performances. Her on-screen work includes roles in acclaimed productions such as Short Term 12, True Blood, The Resident, Found, and Tyler Perry's Sistas.
Born and raised in Chicago, Katelin was hooked on acting from the first time she made an audience laugh in her fourth grade play. After graduating from U of I with a Bachelors in Biology, she moved to NYC to study acting and work as a professional actress. Eventually, she found herself in LA working in Film and TV. After studying with Anthony Meindl for several years Katelin was tapped to be an instructor at his flagship studio in LA.
A cornerstone of her teaching is helping students understand that everything they need to be incredible actors is already inside them. Rather than chasing after the fulfillment of a scene, or expressing a preconceived idea of how things should be, Katelin teaches her students how to live in the moment and let go.
