Tyler is a professional actor with over a decade of experience in theater, TV and film. On Broadway, he was an original company member of the Tony Award winning revival of Once On This Island and was a part of the closing Broadway company of Motown the Musical. You may have also seen him around the country in three different 1st national tours like Company the Musical as PJ, Once On This Island as Daniel and Motown the Musical as Norman Whitfield. Some other credits include Pharus in Choir Boy at Steppenwolf, Claude in Hair the Musical at The Old Globe, Gilbert in Marie, Dancing Still at The 5th Avenue Theatre, Angel in RENT at Casa Mañana Theatre and Roy in Fun Home at Studio Theatre DC.
On screen, you've seen him appear on NBC’s The Blacklist and one of the most revolutionary television shows of our time–Pose on FX, The 72nd Annual Tony Awards and Late Night With Seth Meyers. He just wrapped a major horror feature film to be announced later this year… Tyler comes with years of training with Bob Krakower, Jose Perez and experience on set.
Tyler knows firsthand what it's like to get a last-minute audition and still deliver a performance that books. That's why he teaches actors how to break down scenes quickly, make strong, specific choices, and work behaviorally in front of the camera as we are telling “stories through pictures.”
He's not just a working actor—he's a passionate coach who truly cares. Tyler brings deep industry insight and a commitment to helping every student grow their craft and walk into auditions ready to book the job.
