SCENE 1: 112DC-0235

Sean is a beat cop responding to a standard noise complaint. He arrives at an apartment with a loud stereo playing. He knocks on the door and there is no answer so he knocks louder. Someone finally answers and is not at all thrilled to have a cop at his door. He is a real hard-ass. The kind of guy you would cross the street if you see him coming your way. He asks what the problem is without turning the stereo down. Sean asks him to do so and he obliges, sarcastically. Sean then sees a gun on the table in the apartment. He asks the man to step outside into the hall. He asks why and Sean again makes the request more sternly. The guy begins to ask shifty and Sean tells him that he isn't going to ask again. The guy pauses and then tries to make a run back into the apartment for the gun. Sean draws down on him just as he reaches for the weapon and begins to turn. Sean has his gun pointed at the guy who has his gun in his hand at his side. He starts saying that he doesn't want to jail, that he CAN'T go back to jail. Sean tries to talk him down but he gets more anxious. He raises his gun at Sean. The screen cuts to black as we here two gunshots. We never know the outcome.
